Exposure Lights

Post by Jes@GCRE » Sun Jan 08, 2017 11:20 am

Hi,

Does anyone have any objections if I invite these people to have a stall at Shenington.

http://exposurelights.com/

Based on:

Nominal £200 charge for the stall.
They can sell / hire lights to teams for the event.
They put links on their website to ours and a prominent link to live timing during the event.
If they want to enter a car then that's at the usual rate etc.

We would need to provide them with a power supply from the main building so I suggest we put them by the main building...

J

Sounds Good

As they also do Event lighting, why not see if they could light up part of the track?

I am happy with Alistair's lights at present but if he was ever unable to do this then that would be a good plan.

I'm happy with Alistair's as well, but maybe they could light up far end of pit where you are or one of the unlit corners.

Here's another thought, could they do some at curborough

I think showing the driver where corners are is what headlights are for ;-) .

Which is where Exposure come in really. Because they were offering "hire" and "recharge" facilities at Brands Hatch.

Strange that, i thought they were only for marking the corners of the car or for dazzling other drivers given examples seen at shenington. ;)

But seriously, having the option to try and hire at Shenington is good and depending on how it goes maybe they could also have a stand at curborough.

Is it worth seeing if anyone else interested having a stand eg Schwalbe tyres, local bike shop etc

I am fine with all that as long as our sponsor is happy with it and we can allocate space (lots of unused space near the club house).

The one big "thing" we need to do differently at Shenington this year is to have the repeat lap counting screen back in the cafe. It was a nice idea having like a "publicity gazebo" last time but it was too out of the way. In the cafe is a better focal area I think.

I think if we could extend the cafe seating area slightly it would help and then yes a couple of screens, as big as we can manage.
