I wonder where the money comes from though because I sold him a car for £650 a couple of years back and the cheque was written from the Bristol 24 bank account and it cleared.

I'd just like to thanks Jes for alerting us to this and Alan for the work he put in over the last two days in sorting it all out.

Its a shame the games are on a weekday else going on what the event organiser Peter said i suspect we might have been able to bypass Rob and put on something for them much better and at less cost.

As it is i think they will end up with a non-event and complaints.

I do wish Rob well and success with it but going on past experience................

I think the fact that it has been cancelled 2 years in a row (without Rob's help) speaks volumes.

Companies simply don't have the time and money to commit to such things now - not in the numbers needed to support an event anyway - otherwise we wouldn't be in the trouble we are in at present.
