Shenington things

Post by Jes@GCRE » Mon Jun 06, 2016 1:48 pm

Hello,

Marshals and 1st aid are now confirmed.

Callum dropped in yesterday and confirmed he should be there from mid-afternoon on Saturday until the end of the race.
He will bring with him some kit with which to give us a local wifi network which will be nice.

I think we still have the caravan for race control.
(We need to put Purple Moose in it I think when it goes back as a thank you to Dad.)

Bear Grylls are having the usual issues in that lots of teams are waiting far too late to order to be fair to them.

The new pit-out lights are simply awesome imho.

I have a new top-bar for the start / finish gantry. It is an 8m aluminium scaff tube in 4 x 2m lengths so we can cut it to suit.

I have trophies - all recycled which is nice!

I do not have the means to produce certificates.

Will be putting together the get-in team over the next few days!

All the best,

Jes

Bob did certificates in the past but can't remember if he is coming or not.
How many are we looking at and what design?

Is there a rsvp date on the cafe menu? Do we need to post it on website?

Bob isn't coming to Shenington... :(
He has said he will be at Curborough but we are unlikely to see him before that.

Jes

How many and what design do you want the certificates to be?
I could get these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251345702754? ... EBIDX%3AIT as blanks and overprint leaving just names to be added on the day

They look great.

Have got the 2016 guides from Chris today. Copied the tracks and laminated them to hang up.
Hopefully our stall will look great and I have plenty of badges from past Scoutcar races to hand out.

Will take plenty of pics and post them on Facebook for all to see.

Team 105 will present the track and racing as professional as possible and do our bit to promote both scout car racing and British Pedal Car Racing.

The event is at the Welsh Show ground with 2500 cubs attending.

Keep on Pedalling and looking forward to Shennington.

So roughly how many do we need?

Given the wording i assume its 1 given to each driver (approx 150 needed) but do you also want a set for the team? (26 needed could be better quality)

Do you want team names pre-printed

Let me know asap as i need to obtain heavier weight paper
