If they are buying them the teams own them I guess. They can then bring them along when they come to our events. :)

I suggest that the Ringwood organisation buys the tags off the BFPCR at cost price and then whether they hire or sell them to their own teams is up to them.

Then the rest of that is the "hire fee" and is kind of a seperate thing.

I assume his offer of £3000 all in would include purchasing the tags?

Alan

rather than having multiple people posting in the FB chat and maybe ending up getting wires crossed, can i suggest you take the lead from our end.

Can we ask clarification then regarding the tags

Question asked - So assuming he comes back and says £3000 all in including 72 tags, is everybody ok to go with that??

I'm happy with that assuming we can get necessary help for Phil and the 2nd laptop (which we need in any case).

Just need to work out how the tags are purchased ie does jim do it or does he pay us and mark does it. In either case i wonder if Mark/Jim might be able to negotiate a discount especially if we add on some for our own use (should we need them)

Ringwood have now decided they don't need our timing system afterall... They are using the one from New Milton.

Much as I am sure we want to help out, I'm not ever so gutted about this apart from the time various people (not me) have already spent on it!

Also, please remember, it was still a non-starter because we had no 2nd person to go with Phil yet.

In one respect it does mean less hassle for us and possible problems should the timing system failed.

We do though still need to make sure that we have a 2nd laptop and a 2nd Phil for our own use.
