In a way yes I agree.

Of course if it was a car park on the front at Monaco or somewhere I may disagree!

I'd make an exception for that...

Sorry only now catching up...
As said by others it would be good to see how the 2015 Bristol event goes. If this then leads to us getting an active role for a 2016 event so be it. We would need someone local to be Fed liaison officer to help smooth the process i think.

Last weekend was far too full-on to give this any attention I am afraid but I think we had a conversation on Saturday or Sunday about finding a race organiser for Solihull?

(Stop me if I am wrong please!)

Hi Jes

I think i was volunteered by the wife, although Rose did say she would help (and i think Wendy was involved in hatching that plan as well) so i'll hold both of them to it ;)

So yes we do have a Solihull organiser, but i'll need advice on whats required, who to contact etc

Dave - I'll send across the contact details when I get to my laptop. I'll also send you the application form and risk assessment etc for this year so that you can just amend as necessary for next year rather than start from scratch.

Thanks

Darren

OK, so we are making progress...

20th March: R1
23rd April: R2
25/26th June: Shenington.
24th July: Solihull
3rd / 4th Sept: Blackbushe
24th September: Curborough.

The next question is where are we having rounds 1 and 2.

Choices seem to be Nottingham, Bruntingthorpe, Wombwell.

I know we shouldn't choose based on cost alone as should take into account each circuits merits as well.

We know that

Wombwell £300 (2015)
Bruntingthorpe £720 (2014) but 2015 should have been less as shorter time?

so does anyone know what Nottingham will cost? It could be ruled out on cost alone or other hurdles.

Bruntingthorpe 2015:

In one sense it cost zero pounds and zero pence having been covered by an anonymous sponsor...

In another sense I'm expecting the bailiffs round to claim what's owed...

Does anybody know why Shrewsbury and Odd Down have been dismissed? Both had people willing to organise and are similar tracks to Nottingham.

Shrewsbury shouldn't be dismissed I think for March because it is fairly easy to access (end of a dual carriageway) and is 'known' and has lights, power and nice café / facilities if we need them or if the weather is bad. Also not too expensive.

MArk, Bruntingthorpe is £600 and I will try and bring the bill to Curborough.
