Thanks to everyone involved in this event.A great day for our team but
More importantly the sport. With the weather mixed and some great racing
Between all Teams, when vital decisions had to be made regarding the third race,
It was great to hear all managers agreed with the decision to not run race 3.
All managers and officials need a pat on the back for ensuring the safety and well being
Of all our Teams is paramount. The sport is run for all and we all are one.

Regards

Gary

Well said that man!! I think if it had only been adults racing we could have just carried on and left it up to anybody bonkers enough to drive on and bag some points... But the exceptional conditions and seeing lots of youngsters shivering with little or no shelter really meant we had to be sensible about it - Very pleased everyone agreed and I'd like to add my thanks to all the team managers, committee members an especially to Mark for the way the whole thing was handled...

Thanks Mark, Phil and Dave and all the other helpers for putting on a great event on Sunday.
Well done to all the teams that braved the elements. Great to see new teams going so well and enjoying themselves, especially the young cub and scout teams.
Hope to see you all at the next one. :D :D :D

Seconded and thirded. Some great new efforts coming along. It also slipped my notice that Wing got into third in the second race - class is permanent eh? What happened in race 1?

Chris, we had a rather large shunt with about 20 mins to go in the first race, bent all the front bodywork so the pedals wouldn't go round...this compounded our slow start and came back to haunt us at the end of the second race. Big sorry to the car we collided with.

I see - I must have missed that. Well, clean slate at Bruntingthorpe and we know it favours your set-up! Will be doubly interesting if Norton come too!
