Re: Publicity Discussion

Now that we have the fancy new (updated) website, do we even need the guide next year? It was a massive help to us this year due to having a website that hadn't been updated for a while, so we needed something to let people know we're still around. But thanks to those that created and update the web...

Re: Publicity Discussion

I'm not sure whether I missed it anywhere, but I didn't realise a decision had been made to give Doughty free entries in return for making the guide. I would have objected if I knew because as has already been mentioned, what about the others that spend so much time contributing (I'm not including m...

Re: 2016 Race Numbers

Out of curiosity, why can number 20 not be used? I can understand 30/40/50 etc I'm only doing what i was told ;) Although i suppose if cars 20 and 1 came past at same time if it was said car 20, 1 it could sound like 21 same as 30, 40, 50 etc Fair enough that makes sense. I thought maybe it was bec...

Re: timing tag position

My technical knowledge of this is literally non existent, but I do recall Neil was surprised to see the one loop on the mat when rolling it out at Solihull and thought it may not be as effective as the original one (I still have painful memories of us both in the front garden making the original mat...

All info is coming across to you by email this evening, Dave.

Re: 2016 calendar

Dave - I'll send across the contact details when I get to my laptop. I'll also send you the application form and risk assessment etc for this year so that you can just amend as necessary for next year rather than start from scratch.

Thanks

Re: Pit Lane and Safety

A lot of safety comes down to common sense... I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Although I would go as far as saying that all safety comes down to common sense. But no matter what rules and regulations we put in, there will always be someone who has the potential to do something very s...

Re: Pit Lane and Safety

I'm in agreement with Chris's post. We put the tape down as late as possible to give the track time to dry, yet unfortunately it did come up because the track was still slightly damp. However, this is pretty irrelevant in the case of this incident, because the tape wouldn't have stopped the two cars...

Bit of a mystery where the other ones have gone though... Do we need to purchase some more for future events?
Does Antony have them I wonder?

Cones We have 16 of the small full cones (blue) and 20 odd of the red little cones. there are also a few larger ones and one "helper" who's had a hard day ;) WP_20150716_004.jpg Just had it mentioned. wasn't the pit lane just marked out by tape last year? Thanks Dave - if you can bring them that'll...
