Wild and windy weather greeted a full grid for the 1st race of the 2015 season at the ever popular Wombwell Kart Track.

Despite this, it was a great event and brilliant to see the progress that many teams have made over the winter. The cameraderie between the racers in such difficult conditions was a credit to the spirit of co-operation and mutual support which has always been such a massive part of pedal car racing. The results are now on line here
Moving on, and round 2 at Bruntingthorpe on April 25th is rushing towards us. Over 20 cars have already entered which is, of course, excellent but we still have space for more. There will be a stand selling tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches on the day in aid of 22nd Rugby Scouts so please support them! All the information is on line here
Finally, entries for the Shenington 24 hour are due on or before midnight on Friday, May 1st. As always, you can enter using the on-line shop or by post. Our page for this race is here and the website for the race is www.shenington24.com
Don’t forget that the ever popular “Bear Grylls Cafe” will once again be looking after the catering but please pre-book soon to let them know they are loved and appreciated!
Hope to see you all at one (or all!) of these great events.
All the best,
Jes Featherstone
